Round 7
Championship - Pool A winner vs. Pool B winner
Returning State Placewinners in the field: Buzzy Maines, West Branch, 2nd at 220; Triston Law, Forest Hills, 5th at 120; Max Murin, Central Cambria, 5th at 106; Casey Glunt, James Buchanan, 6th at 182 (Class AAA); Tyler Oliver, United, 7th at 195.
Analysis: On paper, it looks like West Branch should win this title. WB, led by returning state runner-up Buzzy Maines, was undefeated heading into this week and should be favored in Pool B. Central Cambria and United seem to be the main challengers on that side. Just before Christmas, Central Cambria beat United, 39-36. In Pool A, I'd give a slight nod to Forest Hills over Meyersdale and Marion Center.
