All-Academic Wrestling Teams

   The 2014-15 PWCA All-Academic Wrestling Teams have been released. Below are those wrestlers from District 5 that were selected. They are listed by grade.

Seniors
   3rd Team - Tevin Mostoller, North Star
   Honorable Mention - Trent Crouse, Chestnut Ridge; Shane Davis, Chestnut Ridge; Jon Fabian, Somerset; Colby Hillegass, Chestnut Ridge; Luke Hobson, Chestnut Ridge

Juniors
   1st Team - Aaron Burkett, Chestnut Ridge
   2nd Team - Jonathan Gabriel, Bedford
   Honorable Mention - Dillian Charlton, North Star; Gus Strasiser, North Star

Sophomores
   1st Team - Dylan Williams, Chestnut Ridge

Bulldog and Dragon Camp

   The annual Bulldog and Dragon Tilts and Legs Camp is coming up soon. The camp will run from May 11-14 from 6:30-9 p.m. in the Auxillary Gymnasium at Claysburg-Kimmel High School.
   Camp Clinician is former Claysburg and current Central coach Dave Marko, and the counselors are Claysburg coach Dave Aungst and former District 6 standout A.J. Schopp. Schopp is a former PIAA state champion at Tyrone and that school's career wins leader, and he just finished up a stellar collegiate career at Edinboro University by becoming a three-time NCAA All-American. At last month's Division I Championships, Schopp placed third at 133 pounds.
   Cost for the camp is $60, and checks can be payable to either Claysburg or Central Wrestling Boosters.
